BEIJING – China’s Foreign Ministry on Thursday sanctioned US Representative Michael McCaul, chairman of the House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Committee, for visiting Taiwan, saying he had sent a “serious wrong signal to Taiwan independence separatist forces.”
